TERMS
(specific terms applicable to a single product
 or service, are provided along with final quotes)
Custom Quotes:
All final quotes provided to prospective customers are valid for 30 days.  Standing orders, placed on hold for over 30 days will be subject to cancellation.

Terms and condition of sales:
Claims for defects or damage are to be made in writing, within ten business days after delivery (see also “Returns”).  Failure to provide a written claim within the specified period, shall constitute irrevocable acceptance and admission that terms of sale have been complied with.
Entaecan Publication’s liability shall be limited to the sales price of damaged or defective goods, agreed upon at the time of sale.  Entaecan Publications reserve the right to replace defective/ damaged products with damage/ defect free product in lieu of full or partial refunds.  Entaecan Publications shall retain the right, as necessary, to retain customer property in our possession, and shall have a lien on all customer property in our possession, including works in progress, as a security for any partial or full payment due, under the terms agreed to by the customer at the time of sale.

Overruns/ Underruns:
Based on normal operating procedures, printed products are subject to 10% plus or minus, variance in quantity.  Final billing will be adjusted or credited accordingly.  Orders for exact quantities are subject to an additional 10% charge and must be specified in writing.

Returns:
Entaecan Publication must be notified, in writing (e-mail preferred), of any claim for return and or,
reimbursement/ replacement for damaged or defective goods, attributable to Entaecan Publications.  Typically, a detailed description of the circumstances and a photo of one or more of the damaged goods and or packaging may be required, as a condition for approval of returns.  No product shall be accepted for "return" by Entaecan Publications, without prior written approval.  "Returns" failing to meet this requirement, will be "turned away" at receiving (i.e., those "returns" without a return approval ID)  In the event that a valid claim for return/ compensation of damaged or defective goods is filed, Entaecan Publication reserves the right to require disposal of defective or damaged materials, by the customer in lieu of returning said defective/ damaged products.

Shipping:
Terms for shipping shall be agreed upon in writing prior to acceptance of all orders.  All shipping and handling costs shall be stated via invoice or pre-approved order form (i.e., order forms remitted to customers with final quote prices and terms, requiring only the customer’s signature and prepayment as applicable).  Pending the size of printed material orders, shipping typically will be FOB from Entaecan Publications or its authorized vendors, or “collect” via FedEx or UPS ground.  For all collect shipments initiated by Entaecan Publications at the request of the customer, the shipment of goods shall be insured for total amount of total sales value with the customers approval at the time of sale (e.g., acceptance and processing of a pre-approved order form) , failing this, the customer assume all responsibility for the condition and safe transport of said goods, once the “collect” carrier takes possession of said shipment .  Customers for printed goods, who select the option of prepayment of shipping costs, at the time of sales, thereby acknowledge and accept an additional charge for insurance of the shipment, not to exceed the sales value of said shipment.   Customers requiring the use of customer approved carriers must specify these options as applicable, in writing, prior to acceptance of any product order and thereby accepts responsibility for the condition and safe transport of these goods, once said carrier takes possession of the customer’s goods from Entaecan Publications.  All orders for services that result in “print ready” files only, will be shipped UPS or FedEx ground, without additional charge to the customer.  Shipment of all “customer supplied materials,” is the responsibility of the customer.  All original customer supplied materials materials will be shipped (returned) to the customer along with the product.  The shipping costs for all proofs sent to customers, that result from customer requested edits (i.e., proofs which are not a result of errors or omissions, on the part of Entaecan Publications), shall be sent “collect” via the carrier specified by the customer.  

Manuscript & Image files:
The customer is responsible for maintaining original files for all customer supplied materials, in the event that copies submitted, are inadvertently damaged or destroyed during computer manipulation, or due to some other accidental circumstances.  Copyrighted materials cannot be accepted for inclusion into a design or printed, without a signed release from the copyright owner and the submitter.

Cancellation:
Each cancelled order will be subject to a cancellation fee of $50 and pro-rated charges for all work performed or product supplied under the terms of the sales order (reimbursement of cancelled prepaid orders, shall be on a pro-rated basis as well).

Quality, Proofs, Color Proofing:
All reasonable efforts will be made by Entaecan Publications, in order to expedite design prepress work flows and return proofs to the customer in a timely fashion.  In order to maintain our low design rates and competitive printing rates, we maintain a lean staff, and therefore we cannot offer a standard turnaround time.  Estimated turnaround times will be stated in the pre-approved order forms that accompany final quotes.  Depending on project scope and work flows, turnaround time for the initial proofs on a small project (e.g., ads, fine art portfolios, logos, corporate branding kits, brochures, calendars, short powerpoint presentations, website designs, small catalogs, newsletters etc.,), is typically five to ten business days, once the order is processed and the customer is notified that the order is approved and work will begin his/ her project. “Turn-key” (i.e., no design work required) printing job proofs, are typically turned around in five business days or less.  For larger projects, such as large catalog design or book design, four to eight weeks is typical, depending on the scope of the project (concept sketches/ proofs may be submitted sooner).  No further work will commence, beyond the submission of proofs to the customer, without written approval by the customer (e-mail acceptable), along with an indication of “O.K. for printing or final file as is,” or “O.K. for printing or final file, with corrections.”  Direction for all corrections must be submitted confirmed in writing or via e-mail.  In some cases, Proofs may be submitted via electronic files, for the customer to printout and approve directly.  In these cases the customer will indicate approval for this process on the pre-approved order form that they receive with their final quote.  The quality of printed products shall reflect the best possible product, based on the paper stock and quality of the materials submitted by the customer.  Because of the variance in printing equipment, paper, inks and other conditions between prepress and print production operations, a reasonable variation in colors between proofs and the completed job, is typical of the printing industry and its current technology.  The customer acknowledges these limitations and shall consider such variations acceptable.                  


Payment:
Entaecan Publications can provide low pricing in part, by eliminating internet gateway and merchant banking costs, which can reach collectively as high as 8% of the cost of goods and services, and is traditionally passed onto the consumer.  We further reduce costs and pass those savings on, directly to consumers, through reduced expenses associated with 3rd party collections and by developing a pricing structure that is based on streamlined overhead costs (e.g., by maintaining a lean design and prepress staff, and the absence of phone order service).   All orders totaling $1,500 or less, must be paid in full by company check, cashier’s check or money orders at the time the order is placed, unless your order is billed to an approved open account (available to highly rated firms, upon verification and approval of customer supplied credit information, credit terms are typically net 30 days from invoice date).  The balance of all payments due, for all orders, is net 30 days from the invoice date unless otherwise specified, as with the exception of large design projects such as book and catalog design orders.  Payment for large projects may be required on a graduated schedule, as phases of each project are completed.
